Big Tornado is not a conventional ceiling fan because it falls into the category of HVLS ceiling fans (High Volume Low Speed - large airflow, low speeds).

In fact, the ceiling fan aims to create a light but deep breeze. The air volume is 32,000 m³/h (for comparison: a normal ceiling fan of 132 cm is able to move up to 7000 m³/h).

Result: with a maximum rotation speed of 110 rpm (which is 2 x less than that of 130 cm ceiling fans), a permanent, homogeneous and deep breeze is generated, without the air pressure of a traditional fan.
Big Tornado is suitable for rooms of up to 150 m² in summer and up to 300 m² in winter.

It comes with a light set (LED, 36 W, with adjustable colour temperature 2700, 4500 and 6000K) that can be installed optionally (depending on the height of the ceiling).
In addition, thanks to the low revs, Big Tornado remains very quiet despite its exceptional performance, with only 46 dB at the highest level.
Its consumption is between 15 and 60 watts depending on the level chosen.
BigTornado is therefore a modern energy saving tool that offers numerous advantages both in the home and in commercial spaces.
Being made of aluminium, Big Tornado also tolerates moisture.
This ceiling fan can be conveniently controlled via a remote control, which provides access to all available functions - timer, light on/off, stages, summer/winter mode.


What is heat recirculation?

Some ceiling fans ensure that the air in the room is mixed and that the room temperature is balanced, as well as making optimal use of the heating energy used.
These ceiling fans are particularly useful for high ceilings of 3m or more.

Since the heated air has a lower specific weight than the cold ambient air, it rises to the ceiling area and collects there. It is always colder on the ground, where people live and work, than on the ceiling. The higher the ceiling, the greater the heat loss. In rooms 6 m high, the temperature difference between floor and ceiling can reach 12 degrees!

The purpose of the ceiling fans for heat distribution is to bring the warm air that has accumulated on the ceiling back to the floor where it is actually needed. In this way, the temperature of the room can be balanced and your electricity bill can be reduced by up to 30%
